It's that time of year again! Come out and celebrate the diverse Alief community at our Taste of Alief international parade and community festival on Saturday, April 25th. We can't wait to see you there!

It's never too early to get a head start on your child's education! Alief ISD will host a pre-K registration event at their 14 pre-K campuses on Saturday, April 11. Parents can meet with campus leaders, learn more about our programs, and register on the spot. This is an event you don't want to miss!

Alief ISD will host a Choice Schools Fair on Saturday, May 2, from 9-1 p.m. at Olle Middle Citgo Innovation Academy! Come out to meet our PVAA, STEM, TYWLS, Alief 360, and pre-K staff, learn more about our programs, and register for the 2026-2027 school year. Scan the QR code for registration information. Please attend the first Gals and Gowns event on Saturday, February 7 from 7-10 p.m. at Signature Manor.
This event will provide funding for senior students in need.

The Alief ISD Education Foundation will host their first pickleball tournament on Saturday, March 28, from 10-2 p.m. at Hastings High School.

This event is open to participants ages 10 and up.

Registration $30 per player
Staff discount $25
Seniors and students $20

Special Guests include: Former NFL players, Cliff Avrill, Martellus Bennett, Michael Bennett, and Hip Hop Star, Tobe Nwigwe.

Precinct 4 Commissioner Leslie Briones will host a town hall meeting on Saturday, January 31, from 1-3 p.m. at Hastings Ninth Grade Center.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the public is highly encouraged to attend. Superintendent Dr. Mays will speak at 1:20 p.m.

The Special Education department will host a transition fair on March 21 from 10-noon.
